![]() ![]() First because I do not think all that you listed is either A) bad, or B)accurate. I don't think Disney would have anything to do with it either. Sure it is one day, and a weekday, but I would not put things as crazy. There is a ebb and flow with waittimes day to day, hour by hour.įor example, for the 3 picks I mentioned before Spider-Man (60), Hagrids (90), Mummy (75), two have gone down (Spider-Man Mummy and one has gone up (Hagrids Fast and Furious is only 25 minutes as of 110pm my time when you previously said it was 50. When I’ve needed to get my coaster fix, I now head to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and even Fun Spot. Universal is cheaper, has great perks, allows guests the freedom to do what they want when they want and is getting more crowded as a result. Reservations, Genie+, paid Lightning Lanes, restricted park hopping, huge price increases, refusal to sell new annual passes, cutting perks for pass holders and hotel guests, cuts to ride and park maintenance, higher prices for smaller portions for food, tripling the price on some restaurants like Be Our Guest etc. I think a lot of the increase may be a result of Disney’s anti-consumer tactics they’ve put into place lately. Even Fast & Furious is sitting at 55 minutes right now. That ride used to be more like 30-45 in the past. I’ve seen rides like Transformers have lines as long as 2 hours on weekdays lately. Pent up demand after quarantines? Express has been the only saving grace. I’m a pass holder and go around once a week. The lines have been longer than Disney’s. Lines have been huge the past couple of months when traditionally they would much shorter. Giving people who will be staying at the new hotels (3 new ones at opening and a fourth seemingly planned) something to do on off days and increasing restaurant options without having to take a bus to Citywalk 1.0 (not that it is far) could only be a good thing. I think it adds to the resort feel and helps give that sense of being in the bubble.īe it another canal system or a mini Skyliner or even a covered bridge/walkway system, some sort of non bus transport in the new campus would make it feel like a secondary campus and not just a new park 2 miles away.Īnd while it is supposedly in possible future plans I would like to see Universal bite the bullet, futureproof things and just make Citywalk 2.0 now. The OG campus has a boats to take you to and from the Citywalk. So with all that we know what would you like to see that maybe are not in the plans, but you think should be?įor me, I would like to see secondary transportation options, specifically from the hotels across the street from EU that are being built. There is not much major that we do not know. We know, whether confirmed or very accurately rumored, most of what Epic Universe is going to be.įrom the basic (location, opening timeframe), to the more in depth (what lands there will be, how many hotels), to the specific (the majority of rides). ![]()
